I have loved books as long as I can remember. I love the way they look, When I got my first library card, I was so happy to be able to walk to the library all by myself with a stack of books in my arms feeling proud that I had read all of them, and excited to choose new ones to carry home. I first fell in love with art at the Boston Museum of Fine Arts School where my sisters and I went to art classes every Saturday morning while I was growing up. Later, I attended Skidmore College where I studied studio art and art history and am now completing a certificate in graphic Design from RISD where I also teach illustration.
A freelance illustrator for the past 25 years, my work has appeared in numerous publications from Your Big Backyard Magazine to The New York Times. I've created animations with 360KID for On-Demand Television, and educational software with Fablevision.
